  1. Add name of booker for business travelers

    When a secretary or organizer, organize a booking on behalf of someone else, include an additional field for booker on the reservation, so that you could run a reservations report against the bookers.

    Thanks to your feedback, we decided to release two most wanted intervals! Now you can view following data on your reports:

    · Ongoing 6 months: First day of the current month at 00:00 – 6 months later at 00:00
    · Ongoing year: First day of the current month at 00:00 – 12 months later at 00:00

    The further development of the idea for the upcoming period is not planned for now. However, If we have any new updated on it, we will certainly let you know.

  4. The name of the invoice should be "invoice" (in english) not "factuur" ;-)

    Mews should not impose anything on our official document. Moreover, if Mews wants to make a change on the official documents, they should warn us before.
    Hence we notice that our invoices and pro-format are now labelled "Factuur" (dutch word for invoice). But we do not use dutch in our system.
    Forcing us to use dutch language on our english or french invoices is just
    not right.

  12. Stay restriction - CTA & CTD

    As guests book close to holiday seasons, this can make operations difficult for your property when you may already be low on staff members. With the addition of close to arrival and close to departure restrictions, you can easily specify those dates when you'd like to restrict either check-ins or checkouts.

  13. Increased quotas

    Due to quotas, many properties must choose between their rates, groups, and products when transitioning to Mews. However, increasing the number of quotas system-wide could create speed problems for some properties when there is so much information to load. It is imperative that the system is internally optimized so that it can maintain fast loading speeds while still allowing for an increased number of options.

    The display of products on bills was previously confusing for many properties, however with some minor formatting improvements, products could now be listed per day along with their respective prices and quantities."

    Now, you can see exactly how many spaces are free (the number is positive) or overbooked (it’s negative) on the space categories level with the improved Occupancy and Availability reports.

  18. Automate tasks for failed settlement

    If a payment fails when trying to settle a guest bill, it can create problems for your staff as they might have to chase that guest for a successful payment. Therefore, automating tasks for failed settlements could help streamline this process and collect payments as soon as possible.

    *For example: In case of manual settlement, a task could be created to collect payment from the guest at the time of your settlement trigger. In case of a failed automatic settlement, a task could be created to collect payment from the guest at the time of your settlement trigger.*

  19. Include QR code in confirmation email

    "Confirmation emails currently include the important details that guests need to know upon their arrival. However, with the addition of a unique QR code in these emails, guests can use that email as a tool and check-in using that code to further streamline that arrival process."
