  1. Signing Registration forms Digitally

    Going paperless is not achievable at the moment as it is not possbile to sign the registration form digitally other than the use of the operator.

    Good news is on the way!

    Thanks to all of you, we’ve started working on this idea! Thank you so much for suggestions and provided feedback! Your guests will be able to sign registration forms digitally in Navigator (Guest portal). We are super excited to work on this idea and will certainly let you know once this is released.

  2. Option to edit or disable mandatory OCI/GDPR mail

    We are having a lot of discomfort with the tone of voice and content of the email that gets send out automatically after booking, and thus being the first email that guests receive after they make a booking. The mail starts with "At <PropertyName>, we are dedicated to your leisure..."

    This email cannot be disabled, nor can it be edited to OUR tone of voice. As our property isn't actively using online check-ins, this is for our guests a pointless email. (except for the GDPR notification) After this mail, we are still forced to send a confirmation mail, upselling mail…

  3. Let the booker fill in the data of all companions

    For properties with AutoCheck-in we need the booker to be able to fill in the data of all guests as some of them (old people and children) don't have email address to complete the compulsory data of the registration cards.

  4. Automatic replies for direct guest messaging

    We would like to reply with automatic messages to direct guest messages, to make sure our guests are not waiting for an answer too long. This would come in handy during the weekends, when no one is in the office.

    Another option would be to have the option to shut down the chat function completely or to be notified by an email.

  5. Add messages to booking

    When a guests sends a message through the messaging centre it would . be great if the thread was attached to their reservation.

  7. Display only first name or first name & initial in guest messages

    Currently when messaging a guest through the Mews Messages platform the full name (or whatever name is set in the employee's profile) is displayed to the guest. This is very uncommon and I don't know a single platform that provides the first and last name of a customer support employee. In addition we should be able to give our staff protection from any harassment they could receive as a result of this. As a temporary fix you can remove your last name from your employee profile but this isn't ideal.

  8. Include requests in Customer Profiles

    As guests complete their personal details during online check-in, this is a great time to ask if they might have any special requests or preferences. With an additional field, guests could then add any important information, which would then be automatically added to their guest profile so that property staff can prepare accordingly before they arrive.

  9. Multiple room booking, implement different names informed by booking.com

    NR Bookings made via booking.com with different guestnames are not taken over in Mews. If you do yourself, and delete bookers name, payment information dissapears. How to implement other name in single room without changing payment info?

  10. ETA in Navigator

    Estimated time arrival will be nice for guest and property too because they could now when they will be more bussy. Guests could easily choose ETA in online check-in process (or booking process too). The property will have information when a guest arrives in the hotel. This could be integrated within Commander as well - like a statistic, list of guest sorted by time etc.

  11. Add neutral gender in online check-in

    Is there a possibility to modify the online check in somehow? We got a feedback from one guest that it would be nice to have a possibility to choose gender neutral as a sex and not only male and female. Or can we get the sex question off somehow? Thanks for the help!

    option to choose the language in a guest profile. Now many times the guest does not fill in the language and automatically becomes everything in english. We (as receptionist) want the possibility to do it manually

  13. Arrival and departure date to download onto online booking form

    If the arrival and departure details can be downloaded onto the online form then this would suffice for an official registration form and would eliminate the need to print a registration form on guest checkin.

  14. close invoice wihtout entering postcode

    this is really time consuming when the customer doesn't want an invoice and we just want to register the check-out.

    in costumer profiles the possibilities to look the information we put in at check in up. like the car number.

  17. Toggle specific Mobile Notificaitons from Commander App

    Currently if you have the mobile commander app installed and you are set to receive customer messages in Mews then you receive all messages as a notification on your phone from the mobile app. There isn't currently a way to toggle these notifications without just disabling the app from sending notifications entirely.

  18. Space number and hotel address in Navigator

    I’m traveling & staying only in Mews properties. My memory is not that great and would be amazing to see the hotel address and quick link to maps as well as after check-in show my space number. Would appreciate it as Mews hotels’ guest!

  20. User friendly datepickers / mask fields

    Many users have experienced trouble with the datepickers available in Mews Navigator and Distributor. Rather than selecting years from a dropdown or typing it in a field, it is currently required that users scroll back to the correct year before they are able to select the correct month and date. Implementation of more user-friendly datepickers could both eliminate confusion and frustration, making date selection much easier.
