  3. To not allow a credit card that expires prior of guest arrival to be able to confirm a booking

    At times we have reservations from where at the moment of booking the credit card is valid, however it expires prior of their arrival.
    We cannot accept reservations with an expired credit card since we then cannot collect payment. For security reasons we also do not prefer to take cc over the phone or by email. Is there is a way that the guest can get a notification that when they book their stay with us, the credit card will expire prior of arrival and to use a different card.

  4. Booking Number in all reports

    Booking number should be in all reports - Accounting ledger report and paymentreport, It is much easyer to remember at number instead of the spelling of a name.
    and it would be very usefull if you need to merge 2 reports

  5. Edit the payment note

    When we collect a payment on the payment screen you have an option to add a note, we use this to note down the transaction details room number and the name of the receptionist. sometimes you can make a mistake and put the wrong room number for example, what we would like will be the function to edit that note so when a mistake is made it can be amended.

    This information is later used for generating reports and informing the staff during shift changes.

  6. Pay out report Merchant balance

    View the kind of creditcards (Amex, Mastercard, Visa) on the payout report from the Merchant Balance. And show the total for the costs. So you can check this payout better

  7. Notification when guest enters new credit card details

    When a guest enters new credit card details (for example because we couldn't charge their credit card and asked them to provide another one), it would be helpful if MEWS gave us a notification. We now manually have to check if new details were entered.

  8. Delete the charge and close button

    The button is to attempting and it happends a lot that staff uses this button to early. No corrections can't be made on the same bill anymore. Please make it possible to chose if you want to use this button or not.

  12. balanced bills not to be triggered

    For offline or online reservations, with balanced bill due to another payment method than CC, the trigger should not try to charge the CC given by the guest.

  13. ELAVON - Provider other option than Stripe

    The payment term of stripe is too long, Elavon offers a service of a better quality for cheaper also concerning the bank charges by card. The duration of funds transfer is between one day to two days. Stripe is between 3 days and 7 days of delay. In addition, credit card customer data is not secure at the same level at stripe (Cayman Islands).

    We should have the choice to choose another provider following our place of activity. Currently stripe is the only possible option and the service is not up to the expectations of MEWS customers.

  14. end of day - manually or definately later

    end of day should not be mandatory 12pm. Some guests arrive after 12pm - will be automatically noshow on that day. Further, it is not logic to book f&b products on another day, when the main day of the event is the prior one. This distorts heavily statistics

  16. Merchant: Option: Do not send charge mail to the client

    Mews sends automatically a charge mail to the mail address in the customer profile (for a physical card). But the card holder may be different e.g. a travel agency) and the customer is not supposed to knox the net price. Therefor it would be helpful to have a tick box on the charge screen: "Do not send charge mail to the client".

  17. Report that can show break down of credit cards processed via Stripe (visa/mastercard/domestic/internationals etc..)

    In Australia and New Zealand international cards are charged higher interchange fees than domestic credit cards. It is useful for our clients here to see the breakdown.

  18. Virtual Credit Cards are charged 100% allways even if it's Free Cancellation

    Why virtual credit cards are charged 100% in advance, even if they are free cancellation.

    It should charge only 1st night as with the others CC.

  19. Preautorization automatically renewal

    Pre autorization via Stripe is only valid 4 to 14 days but we need to have an automatic renewal of the pre autorization until the day of arrival - so we have secured really the reservation being garanteed. Especially if you have a no show

  20. Apol OGONE payments

    We are an Accor establishment, and we are working with OGONE, but we do not have any type of payment for this matter. Is it possible to add OGONE VISA, OGONE MASTERCARD and OGONE AMEX for future payments ? Thank youuuu
